With the development of economy and society,food safety problem has become a major threat to public health.Kinds of food safety events,such as pesticides residue exceeding,additives abuse, sanitary substandard,products fake and inferior,food poisoning,happen occasionally.On the one hand,it strongly affects our life security.On the other hand,it indeed has negative effects on the healthy development of our economy and society.To further understand the current situation of food security, the paper studied the current situation of food through questionnaires and field surveys ways.The are600people at different ages, different occupations, different gender as the survey, investigate the number of people eating unsafe food and the food sector that people do not trust. Get582valid questionnaires points, and then arrange and analysis the survey data. Meanwhile field research selected20different farmers markets and larger supermarkets five objects. The main research is about safety mark of vegetables, fresh meat, poultry, livestock, aquatic classes, and then systematically analysis the Findings.The survey shows that more than91%people have had unsafe food. And some traditional staple food,like vegetables,fresh meat,rice and flour grain,manufactured meat product,etc. has already become the most concerned food among people. The problematic food exists everywhere involving in many ranges of food from the traditional staple and non-staple food to other varies of food such as dried food,drinking water and condiments,as well as from traditional small private workshop to many companies with well-known brands. Aimed at those questions above,I will throughly investigated the current situation of food safety in our country and analyze these important links including production of raw material, production and processing, transport-tation and storage and sale and consumption etc in my essay.Besides, based on the safety analysis of the food’s current situation, this article w-ill reflect and penetrate the causation of food safety problem at a deeper level. The caus-es are omnifarious, which include the imposthume in the whole food-supply-system established by the raw material producers, the processing enterprisers, the rule-breaking operation by manufacturing enterprises the excessive usage of the food additives and the abuse of the non-food additives. In to those reasons, like the imperfection of the supervision department and regulation, the weak power from the supervisor, the faultiness of the relevant laws and regulations, the consumers lacking of the food safety sense and the progressively serious environmental pollution, collectively prove to be a catalyst of the food safety issues one by one.At the end of this essay, through analyzing the advanced measures taken by the US and the EU to guarantee their food safety, learning lessons from the advanced experience of foreign countries. I work out the some suggestions over the current problem of food safety.
