Research On Acquisition Of Tacit Knowledge For Product Design In The Industrial Clusters

Product innovation system under industrial clusters enhances the competitiveness of enterprises, and promotes the development of economic. Meanwhile, the national governments at all levels attach great importance to product innovation. As an important resource for new product development of knowledge, innovation of design knowledge has played a decisive role for product innovation. Most of the knowledge in the design, it is found in the products and the design-related personnel’s brain in the form of experience, how to obtain these tacit knowledge of design becomes a key for the innovation of design knowledge. In order to integrate the design strength in clusters, access to product design-related knowledge faster and more efficiently, improve the efficiency of new product development, achieve product innovation ultimately, this subject researches methods of tacit knowledge acquisition for product design in the cluster. It is not only from the perspective of the transformation process for the design tacit knowledge, but also combines industry cluster’s network environments. It is for the phenomenon of industrial clusters as well as the large number needs of tacit in product design process. Finally, take the outdoor furniture industry of Linhai as an example to study, it verified the feasibility of the methods that obtaining tacit knowledge of product design in cluster.Specifically, in theory, it discussed the acquisition process of tacit knowledge for product design in the industrial clusters. It studies the knowledge based industry clusters perspective and the content and features of the tacit knowledge for design products in cluster. Based on discussing the importance of tacit knowledge’s acquisition in cluster, the article studies the process of knowledge and obtaining media, acquisition process of tacit knowledge for design separately. It also studies the classification of design knowledge in the industrial clusters. In combination with industry groups, product’s design elements, products’expression, product evolution four-dimensional, the article preliminary classifies the product design knowledge, represents product design knowledge of cluster, and build knowledge models.In the method, the article divided the externalization process of knowledge by two different media in acquisition process of tacit design knowledge, which one is individual media, the other is products media. The externalization process of knowledge is divided into two parts, building of expert knowledge map for the cluster and the externalization process for the products media. It includes making an intuitive expression of predicted the scope and focus for Expert’s design knowledge with model and constructing expert knowledge map on the classification of design knowledge in cluster. It researches explicit methods of design’s tacit knowledge on Kansei Engineering framework. Contact expert with the corresponding knowledge by expert knowledge map. Get emotional vocabulary about experts and knowledge of design elements by questionnaire, semantic differential method and other methods. Analyze the data to get effect on emotional imagery by different product media with quantification theory I model and obtain correlation between product design knowledge and emotional vocabulary. Finally, complete the externalization process of tacit knowledge. By using a similarity algorithm and different design constraints could make an effective selection for design knowledge.Make the outdoor furniture industry cluster of LinHai as the research background. Research and analysis tacit knowledge obtaining of the outdoor furniture design on investigating the status and characteristics of cluster.
