Through the research of conventional pumping unit, the defiencies of conventionalpumping unit are high installed power, bad counterbalance effect and inefficiency, so it is inthe hope to design a new type of lower deviated complex balanced walking beam pumpingunit to decrease crank peak torque, reduce installed power and improve pumping unitefficiency through force moment transfer.Design features of lower deviated complex balanced walking beam pumping unit: on thebasis of conventional walking beam pumping unit, add a set of off-centered walking beambalance assembly at the rear of walking beam, self-weight and centroid position of which canbe stepless controlled continuously according to the operating condition in order to realizebending moment balance so that it improves counterbalance effect, decreases energy loss,improves integrated economic benefit in field development.According to the structural characteristics of the conventional pumping unit and offsetpumping unit, using VB6.0under partial equilibrium pumping motion characteristics of thecomposite program that can optimize structure parameters under partial balancing devicedesigned according to the specific well conditions, specifically including the lower deviatedangle, the lower deviated counterweight and arm length, etc., to achieve the optimal allocationfor pumping transformation. With the above principles and methods in the test wells and fieldwells, it proves complex balancing effect under partial equilibrium pumping is superior toconventional machines, while the site has been tested by comparison and been analyzed onthe rationally optimized lower deviated complex parameters, to achieve effective energyconservation, the average saving rate of14.72%.On the basis that lower deviated complex balance pumping unit does not change theoverall structure of conventional beam pumping unit, it is easy to adjust the weight of theblock on site on different well conditions, improve the balance effect of the pumping unit,save energy, therefore, the transformation of low-cost, simple structure, energy-saving effectis remarkable, is the preferred scheme beam pumping unit energy.
