It is very important and meaningful for the oilfield to get operational parameter information of oilfield pumping wells through various sensors and transfer the information by TWACS (Two Way Automatic Communication System). It is a economic and secure way to transfer information in this way; according oil pumping and injection wells operational monitoring requirements, this paper analysis the displacement and application of various kinds of sensors of injection well’s flow, pressure and pumping load, displacement and other types of parameter, and design a remote monitoring system of oilfield wells based on sensor networks and TWACS technology. The system cannot only monitor the real-time operating conditions of pumping and injection wells, but also provide a way to build a economic and digital oilfield system.The main work and results of the paper are as follows:1) according to the principle of TWACS the requirements of production and management of oilfield, this paper designed a remote monitoring system of pumping and injection wells, which can realize the real-time monitoring of oilfield wells by collecting operating parameters of various sensors of pumping wells and injection-wells such as flow, pressure, load, displacement, current and voltage, and transmit the parameters based on TWACS technology.2) Based on the analysis and research of the structure and function of the monitoring terminal, this paper developed a junction module to brings local sensor information together. The module uses Atmega128as its core, and brings all kinds of sensor information together via RS485,433MHz wireless communication, and ZigBee, etc., and can realize data management and caching.3) According to the transmission distance of various types of sensors and the distribution of pumping wells and injection wells, combining with TWACS technology, the paper designed a system to brings local information together and realize remote monitoring information transmission work, and the system has already been put in operation.Based on the studies as mentioned above, this paper developed a remote monitoring system of pumping and injection wells, making oil field management be able to monitor the real-time operating parameter of pumping and injection wells. The system can replace the artificial way to monitor the oilfield test dynamometer, well pressure, flow instruments and so on. The system improved work efficiency and greatly reduces the labor intensity inspection, and the operating results obtained oilfield units received.
