With the continuous improvement of living standards, people’s consumer awareness and consumption concept has changed, to create a perfect and comfortable indoor environment, the style of the door plays a decisive role. With the rapid pace of modern life and the huge pressure, people began to respect recover one’s original simplicity and the pursuit of the beauty of nature, so now the solid wood door is very popular. The surface quality of solid wood doors is closely related to the quality of the overall quality, therefore, the surface of solid wood doors sanding is very critical. Currently, the solid wood door production enterprises use the sanding machine which can not be completed sanding at one-time and usually need two sanding machine, or assemble the parts of the solid wood after sanding.This paper aim at the rapid development of wooden door industry in recent years, particularly, the people loved solid wood door, through the study on the structural characteristics of solid wood doors and surface sanding process, and the advantages and disadvantages analysis of different sand light mode, determining the overall design scheme of solid wood door surface sander (solid wood door surface sanding machine is composed of three parts,a set of working head, Longmen frame and the frame) and technical parameters, so that the design of Solid wood door surface sanding machine can achieve smooth texture sanding, which can sand the bottom rail and the door surface at the same time.This paper fully considered the rationality of solid wood door surface sanding machine structure in the design, and used the software of ANSYS Wokbench gradually analyzing and checking the weak parts of the solid wood door surface sanding machine. Finally, use SolidWorks3D modeling software getting the three-dimensional modeling and assembly of solid wood door surface sanding machine, and simulate the motion of the whole machine, test the interference of the whole machine in structure design, and improve the existing problems in design by analyzing.The research of this paper provides some guidance and experience for the structure design and structure optimization of solid wood door surface sanding machine.
