With the rapid development of modern industry, the application of plasticproducts in many industrial fields become widely, such as electronic communications,computers, household appliances, medical devices and automobile, etc.. Therequirement of injection mold has also increased. For a long time, the design of theinjection mold mostly relies on experiences in domain. In order to achieve goodresults, it is necessary to seek the optimal solution by modifying the design. Suchdesign makes a long production cycle, high costs and a low product quality. Using theCAE (Computer aided Engineering) technology can evaluate the program in the phaseof part design and mold design, forecast the possible defects of products and modifythe design to obtain optimal solution to improve first trail success rate, achieve lowerproduction costs and shorten the production cycle.CAE technology by numerical simulation, could reduce the tryout repair modefrequency and mold scrap rate, shorten the mold design and manufacturing cycle,reduce costs and improve product quality. In this paper, the Mobile frame, which is atypical part of panel window, is used as the study subject. On the basis of the rapidmold flow analysis, the Pro/e software is applied for mold design. The MPI moduleof Moldflow is used to simulate the injection molding process. Through the analysisfor the filling and cooling process, the warpage of the plastic parts can be obtained.At last, the orthogonal experiment method is used to optimize the process parameters.The optimal warpage of injection temperature, the mold temperature, the injectiontime, the packing time and the packing pressure are achieved for the injection moldof the Mobile frame. And the impact of various process parameters on the warpage isalso analyzed. The achievement in this paper can provide a guidance for theproduction process.
