Coal as main energy in our country, its output and consumption are all the highest around the world. However, the phenomenon of coal seam spontaneous combustion is more and more serious, especially in the northwest regions such as xinjiang, Inner Mongolia and so on. Coal fires can not only a threat to safety production of coal mine, but also can cause resource waste and environmental pollution. Our government has listed coal seam spontaneous combustion as one of the major natural disasters in’21st century agenda of China’. Therefore, the research of coal fire detection, coalfield fire control and construction technology has great significance.On the basis of the cause and mechanism of coal spontaneous combustion, the research on the key techniques of coalfield fire management was carried out in this thesis, combining with the actual situation of Chelupo fire area. Firstly, the paper analyzed the influence factors of coal fires, i.e. the internal cause and external, and the mechanism of coal combustion; the combustion characteristics of Chelupo fire area was analyzed combining with the geological occurrence environment in ZhunGeEr coalfield. In view of the spontaneous combustion characteristics of Chelupo fire area, a comprehensive technology was roposed in this thesis, i.e. the emphasis on isotope method for measuring radon detection, combining with reconnaissance and verification with exploration hole for the surface anomaly. And its detection principle and the application of detection process and the data processing methods were expounded. Secondly, on the basis of fire detection results in combination with the practical situation of Chelupo fire area. Fire extinguishing technology solutions were put forward, that is’fire area levelling-isolation drilling-use the yellow mud in fire area within the fracture, and cover rolling in stratification-dig the coal seam outcrop fire strip’Thirdly, coal fire extinguishing index is choice and the effect of the fire area is analyzed.Main conclusions drawn from this study are summarized as follows:(1) The spontaneous combustion characteristics in Chelupo of Zhungeer coalfield is analyzed. In view of the geological characteristics of Zhungeer coal seam, Burning reason and characteristics of fire in Chelupo were analyzed detailly.(2) The integrated application of three kinds of fire detection method. There are many kinds of fire detection methods. Each of the detection method has its advantages and disadvantages. In this thesis a comprehensive technology was roposed in this thesis, i.e. the emphasis on isotope method for measuring radon detection, combining with reconnaissance and verification with exploration hole for the surface anomaly. This technology makes the result of fire detection more accurate and reliable.(3) Using the method of drilling hole extends the dimension of the traditional fire detection results. The traditional methods, such as isotopic radon measurement method, infrared ground temperature measurement method, the natural electric field method, magnetic anomaly method and so on, can only detect the two-dimension of the fire source position, not on the depth of fire detection. By using the detection drilling, the source depth can be determined through the information of temperature in the borehole. It can locate the three-dimensional position of fire. This can improve the governance effect of fire area in Chelupo coal field, making the management time much shorter.(4) Each fire area management priority was analyzed. This paper deduced the diffusion regularity of combustion of carbon with molecular diffusion law and Heat conduction formula. By temperature detection of the fire area, fire area was divided into three different grades:the dynamic type, transitional type and diffusion type. The combustion intensity and hazards of fire area of three types were rising gradually, So the urgency of the governance and the difficulty of management are also rising. A priority for the management of the fire area is proposed, when governance for multiple fire area. This can enhance the rationality of the governance.(5) On the basis of the fire characteristics of Chelupo coal field, Fire extinguishing technology solutions were put forward, that is’fire area levelling-isolation drilling-use the yellow mud in fire area within the fracture, and cover rolling in stratification-dig the coal seam outcrop fire strip’, the feasibility of the solution route was also verified by analysis of gas content in the hole and the monitoring results of temperature.
