In recent years, Boom-type roadheader as one of the important equipment for coal mining mechanization has been widely used in the coal industry.Boom-type roadheader is one of mine tunneling devices in the integration of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and automatic control, which can realize walking, cutting, reproduced, spray dust and other functions,and its hydraulic system is the key component of the roadheader to realize these functions.Because of Boom-type roadheader work in hostile subsurface environments such as damp, high temperature, dust and so on, Leading to a high failure rate. Especially the complex hydraulic system failure probability accounts for about75%of the whole machine fault. Therefore study the reliability of hydraulic system of the Boom-type roadheader, and put forward fault diagnosis measures of hydraulic system of the Boom-type roadheader, which can improve the service life and performance stability of the roadheader.This article was emphatically to make reliability analysis for the hydraulic system of Boom-type roadheader by investigating the actual use of hydraulic system of Boom-type roadheader and the consulting relevant data.Based on the analysis of the composition and function principle of the hydraulic system of Boom-type roadheader. the reliability block diagram and mathematics models of hydraulic system was established. Take the reliability model of hydraulic system as the basis, and the hydraulic system of Boom-type roadheader reliability was analysed by using the method of combining the fault mode, effect and harm analysis and fault tree analysis. By studying the analysis results, find out the common failure mode and high fatal failure mode, To take the corresponding preventive measures, and puts forward the machine hydraulic system pollution control measures, result to reduce the failure rate of the hydraulic system, so it will provide the basis for improving the efficiency and reliability of Boom-type roadheader.
