The linen fabric fire retardant of3-(dimethoxy-phosphoryl) propionamide flame retardantswas synthesized with dimethyl phosphite and acrylamide by using sodium methylate ascatalyst. The results of univariate analysis experiment, orthogonal experiment showed that theoptimum synthesis conditions of3DPP for its maximum productivity is70℃, the feed ratioof1:1.25, and catalyst molar ratio of sodium methylate and acrylamide is0.20:1. The3DPPwas conducted with the tests of national standard of continued burning time, smoldering time,damage rate and fabric whiteness performance after the inflaming retarding for the researchabout the effect of flame retardant reorganization. The orthogonal experiments show that theburning time, smoldering time, damage was0.5s,1.0s and77.56%, respectively, under theconditions of bath ratio of1:20, finishing agent3DPP mass concentration of10%, curingtemperature of160℃and baking time of6min.The degradable chitosan (JK) and degrade carboxymethyl chitosan (SJK) was synthesizedby using the chitosan as the raw material of which were characterized by infraredspectroscopy and test the substituting degree of SJK with potentiometric titration. The fabricwhich was reorganized by the3DPP compound with JK or SJK, its vertical flameperformance was reached to the national standard after4times of water wash. The inflamingretarding of the fabric was better which was reorganized by SJK, its subsequent burning time,smoldering time and the best complex mass ratio was1.5s,0.9s and1:0.25, but thewhiteness of the linen fabric decreased significantly after the reorganization.The P-containing degradation of chitosan derivatives (CNPO) for the flame retardantreorganization was synthesized with SJK and3DPP, of which was characterized by infraredspectroscopy and X-ray Diffraction, and test its substituting degree with potentiometrictitration. The linen fabric was reorganized by the degradation of chitosan derivatives withdifferent concentration. The effect of the use level of CNPO and substituting degree for theflame retarding performance of linen fabric was researched by the tests of subsequent burningtime, smoldering time, damage rate and fabric whiteness. The results showed that when thelinen fabric was reorganized by the bath ratio of1:20, CNPO concentration of13%, curingtemperature of150℃and baking time of4min, it subsequent burning time, smolderingtime and damage time was0.4s,0.8s and74.31%, respectively.
