Research On And Application Of Furniture Graphic Database

With the development of Chinese modern furniture industry, furniture products areincreasing. In order to manage the data properly, most of the furniture enterprises have their ownproduct database system. The information of traditional furniture products database exists withthe "figure" form, its structure is simple and information is abstract. Designers can’t accept theinformation efficiently when they are in the design access, so the efficiency is low. This paperattempts to change the traditional form of the database from the perspective of "visualization",the paper will research a vivid and intuitive database.The main contents of this paper include the following aspects:(1) Combined with interactive visualization design, data management visualization, dataclassification and computer science, design the overall system of furniture graphic database.(2) Researching the enterprise production process, the user requirement and drawing files,design the function and classification of the database. And3D modeling, assembling the Yenterprise furniture series with SolidWorks, then classifying the series of Y enterprise.(3) Based on the user experience, according to the elements and principles of interactivedesign, doing research on the user interaction process, combined color, graphics, and textelements to design the interface of the database.(4) Trying to realize the database, using the web as the front desk interface, MYSQL as thebackground, Java as the programming language, connecting the foreground and background fortesting and debugging operation, establish a complete database, then complete the functionalrequirements as search, display and links.Through the research, this paper completed a furniture products graphic database systemwith a famous domestic large Y enterprise (the following article is called the "Y Enterprise") asan example., for Y designers and administrators to use. Its main innovation are：(1) Changed thetraditional form of "on graphic but figure ", into the graphic data information；(2) Doingclassified scientific research on furniture products which are not standard.(3) Designed databasefunction and realize it. Visual graphic database will improve the effectiveness of people andinformation, thus improve the design efficiency, reduce production cost, improve the marketcompetitiveness of enterprises, which will deeply influent the development of the enterprise.
