LNG tank with its large reserve, small footprint, good security,stability and durability, proves to be the main storage means. Tankcomprises inner and outer tank, which including outer tank wall, domeand floor. Material for the inner tank is9%nickel steel, external tank isconcrete structure, in which the tank wall is prestressed concretestructure.Since large complex structure of the LNG storage tank atatmospheric pressure, to affect its safety, rationality many factors, designcalculation is enormous. However, LNG storage tanks aided designaspects of development in our country is almost a blank, in order tocomply with the requirements of the times, using computer-aided designis imperative. This paper is based on research content ANSYS to developa computer-aided design system LNG storage tank, by Delphi withANSYS to complete the software design. With this system as finiteelement analysis software ANSYS computational kernels from their ownsoftware interface developed by Delphi input parameters, the para meterspassed to the ANSYS software and by Delphi call ANSYS calculation.Specific operational procedures including parameter input, calculationand analysis and results extraction. In addition, the system in thedevelopment process a lot in the UI design specifically targeted research,greatly reducing the operator’s use of the difficulty, to enhance thesoftware’s ease of use.
