On The Upgradingand Improving Of The Centralized Controlsystem Of Coalpreparation Plant

With rapid development and progress of scientific technology, the productionsystem of coal preparation plant has gradually grown from manually transmitting andmanually operating the coal preparation equipment in the earliest period into theadvanced automatic production system at present. The modern production controlsystem is mainly PLC-based application. This paper, taking the coal preparation plantaffiliated to Fengfeng Jizhong Energy Group Dashucun Mine as an example, gives adetailed introduction to the centralized control system of the coal preparation plant,and meanwhile puts forward particular solutions to solving the existing problems likedisorder of communication system, difficulties in capacity expansion, etc. in thecontrol system.The original PLC system, adopting RS232Serial Communication, EthernetCommunication,485Communication respectively, has many disadvantages such asnon-uniform communication modes, slow communication speed and inconvenientmaintenance. To overcome those disadvantages, the CPU of PLC system is upgraded,the million-ton coal silo system is incorporated into the dense medium system as asubstation, and the communication of the whole PLC system is unified into EthernetCommunication, which facilitates system maintenance and makes system expansionmore flexible.In addition, the system is further improved based on actual production to removethe existing defects, and the overload protection function of coal preparationequipment as well as the emergency system of the control system are introduced torealize a more perfect and flexible PLC control system.In short, the upgraded centralized control system embodies in better reliabilityand stability, faster communication speed, stronger capacity expansion and higherproduction efficiency.
