As social and economic development, environmental issues are giving more andmore concern. Because of sewage, the pollution for water environment is particularlyprominent. The sewage must be purified according to the law before emission.Combining theoretical analysis with case studies, author conducted in-depth researchfor the urban sewage treatment process using the comparison method. This thesisfocuses on China’s urban sewage treatment plant process design, and analysis theexisting problems; through theoretical analysis, modeling design and case analysis, itstudies how to scientifically determine the urban sewage treatment process, and laythe theoretical foundation for designing a urban sewage treatment plant, which issmall investment, low operating costs and good effluent quality.The results of this study are as follows:(1) Urban sewage treatment process is analyzed and evaluated. Based on thenature and general objectives of multi-objective evaluation technique, the problemtreated by the hierarchical decomposition, constitutes a top-down ladder hierarchicalorganization. By calculating the combined weights of the inscape at all levels, we canobtain different possible options comprehensive evaluation to provide a basis for theselection of the optimum process.(2) The phosphorus removal process of urban sewage are studied and analyzed,in order to comparing the nitrogen and phosphorus removal technology features ofUCT, SBR and oxidation ditch. It combines with Tianjin JH sewage treatment planteffluent characteristics, and chooses the appropriate urban sewage treatment processto meet the quality characteristics of this city.(3) It conducts comparative analysis of the disinfection technologiescharacteristics for municipal wastewater (including ultraviolet light, chlorine dioxide,chlorine disinfection). Based on the above process, the ultraviolet light steriletechnique for this process can be sure.(4) Combining Tianjin situation and sewage treatment requirements, we shouldpreferably choose a realistic urban sewage treatment process. While the technicalindicator advancement of the process is valued, local circumstances and engineerednature are fully considered also. It has configured structures and selected equipmentfor JH sewage treatment plant.
