Considering the problems of petrochemical enterprises in the crude oil processing, including equipment corrosion, catalyst poisoning, and ammonium salts blockage, recognizethe harm of chloride has become increasingly serious.Through the simple evalution of theelectric desalting before and after shengli mixed crude oil, we investigate the chlorine contentin crude oil, and the source of the chlorides in this paper. On this basis, we optimize theelectric desalting conditions, also bring forward improving measures, to reduce the chlorideharm, and to ensure the long-term safety production of the petrochemical enterprises.Through investigating the distribution of chlorine in shengli mixed crude oil and found:the chlorines distribute in all crude oil fractions, and mainly distribute in the heavy fractions, while the chlorine in light fractions is relatively small; most of the chlorides in crude oil areinorganic chloride(>81%) and the organic chloride accounts for a few part(<19%); electricdesalting process for the removal of inorganic chloride in heavy oil fractions is esay, but forthe removal of organic chloride in the crude oil is difficult. Also through calculation andcomparison of chlorine content which in the crude oil fractions distribution is additive.Through the screening experiment of demulsifier finally get the good NS-80demulsifier,which is used for high temperature electric desalting experiment. By using two electricdesalting water injection (circulating water and fresh water), we investigate various desaltingconditions of mixed crude oil desalting effect. Also compared with the orthogonal experimentresults, eventually the appropriate desalting conditions were get. In this conditions, the saltcontent of crude oil can be declined from63.56mgNaCl/L to<3.0mgNaCl/L, can meetrefinery crude oil processing requirements. In this paper, the chlorobenzene and the2,4-dinitrochlorobenzene were selected as a lowand high boiling point model chloride, to establish the analysis method of the tube furnaceheating-coulometric method for the determination of chlorine content. By using this method to determinate the chlorine content in dozens of chemical additives, we investigate the effectof the species and the change of added amount of chemical additives to the salt content incrude oil and the desalting effect. The research results show that different chemical additivesget different influence on the salt content in crude oil and the rate of desalination, and thehigher chlorine content in chemical additives, the greater impact of crude oil salt content andsalt rejection. Thus, if we use vast chlorine chemical additives for improving oil recovery inthe oil extraction process, then will greatly increase the difficulty of desalination of crude oilin petrochemical enterprises, influence the effect of crude oil desalting, also is not conduciveto subsequent processing of crude oil. Therefore, we should avoid or reduse use thechlorine-containing chemical additives as far as possible, especially the oil-solublechlorine-containing additives.
