Fireworks play a deeply affection on Chinese people, and it has been indispensable toall kinds of celebrations and festivals. Apart from the happiness, fireworks also causeinjuries to people. Carelessness in production always causes injuries; carelessness instorage and transportation often causes accidents; carelessness in setting off fireworkscauses big fires. Terrible accidents happen especially in the process of production.Nowadays, fireworks production is mainly manual operation while the mechanizationdegree is not high. Therefore, it is imperative to realize the automation of fireworksproduction.This paper studies the more dangerous production techniques in production process:powder weighing, granulation, palletizing, drying and mixing. Through analyzing theprocess of fireworks production, we explore the most suitable production methods andestablish the entire production process. Meanwhile, the palletizer component is studied indetail.Firstly, the paper discusses the action that the palletizer shoud complete according tothe technique. Palletizer system components model is worked out based on Pro/E. Thewhole system mainly contains five parts: salver conveyor, salver supplier machine, fillingconveyor, shelf conveyor and palletizer.After that, this paper confirms the rationality of the mechanism motion by establishingthe motion simulation based on Pro/E; it also comfirms the operability of the circuit byestablishing pneumatic circuit simulation based onAMEsim.Then, in this paper, the palletizer system control circuit is designed. Based on theMitsubishi PLC, the control system has been worked out and according to Kingview themonitoring system is set up. A friendly human-computer interaction interface has beendesigned, thus the design work of palletizer system is completed.
