Transmission system plays a vital role in cooling bed equipment, in which thekinematic performance will directly affect the safety and performance of the cooling bed.The main drive shaft of cooling bed transmission system component, which is a key step-drive design of the cooling bed. Drive shaft in the structural design process, the applicationof the drive system dynamics software kinematic analysis, for further information by theload and torque transmission shaft during operation, and thus to optimize the structure ofthe long transmission axis, saving transmission shaft raw materials, reduce costs, hasimportant significance.The paper is based on the transmission system of cooling bed with the specifications120m×6m used by the rolling production line in some steel plants as the research object.In the original design drawings on the cooling bed, using three-dimensional software-SolidWorks2012establish a step-cooling bed transmission geometry, after a reasonablesimplifying import dynamics software ADAMS-VIEW-2012kinematics simulationanalysis. Transmission consider the actual work during a typical working conditions in thecourse of the analysis, that the transmission shaft in accordance with uniform acceleration-uniform-uniform deceleration the movement of uniform deceleration of rotational motionmoving a step forward to achieve bars. Kinematic analysis of detailed transmission coolingbed then mastered the motion characteristics of the drive shaft is helpful with the analysisof the results.From the stepping cooling bed transmission system kinematic analysis found: thetransmission shaft of discontinuity near the transmission segment axis by the torque valueis significantly greater than the value of the outer shaft torque, and therefore can optimaldesign different coaxial segments drive axis shaft diameter. The paper uses the dynamicanalysis software to solve the force of the transmission shaft, which further solves thestatically indeterminate problem existing in the transmission system. The application of this method can save the raw materials of transmission shaft, and provide a theoreticalbasis for the optimum design of similar transmission shaft.
