As an important part of the industrial iron,hot blast stove is iron making ancillary equipmentused to heat the blast. The regenerative hot stove is commonly used in Modern blast furnace. Inactual process of industrial production, the different heating condition of hot blast stove and thechanging of blast furnace gas pressure and calorific value will influence the heating effect. Theheating condition of the hot blast stove directly affects the wind temperature. Incurrent stage,the hot blast stove combustion control mainly relies on the workers domany test for various conditions to obtain the best wind coal ratio. But this method is toocumbersome and laborious, resulting in a waste of resources. The hot blast stove’s air temperatureis not high also become the main problems faced by Chinese enterprises..In this paper, studying the current heating system of the hot blast stove combustion controlsystem, based on calorific value changing, pressure changing and hot blast stove frequentlydeviate from the optimal combustion conditions, design a set of combustion optimization of hotblast stove control system based on iFIX. This system is designed by using monitoringconfiguration software and optimization control software module based on iFIX. Firstly, realizedynamic data interaction between the original system and optimization system by using the OPCtechnology. Secondly, solve the dynamic data interaction of the force control configurationsoftware and the optimal control software through DBCOM.OCX control. According to thedifferent stages to design different optimization algorithm,making the dome temperature rapidwarming in rapid combustion period by adopting the method of dynamic PID optimization; at thesame time maintaining the dome temperature stable, steady rise in the temperature of the exhaustgas after entering the vault temperature management of the use of self-optimizing manner. Byadjusting the hot blast stove during combustion is more uniform, reducing heat loss. The fieldinspection operation, the system control effect is good and better energy saving ratecould be achieved.
