In this paper, the box-parts design process is based on military vehicle body. TheNeural NetworkFuzzy Logical and Knowledge Base are applied to designing of thecomplex box-parts. SF-CAPP system is developed by using C#programming softwareand CAMWorks software, Microsoft Access2003use as the database platform. It iscompleted the NC process planning system, namely SF-CAPP system. In this paper,mainly introduced the framework design of the SF-CAPP system、Recognition andextraction the information of the box-part. By analyzing box-part machining features,and using intelligent technology to decide characteristics processing methods andmechanical processes, and established the process knowledge.Firstly, select the product data exchange standard (STEP-NC) as the intermediatefile to complete the process information recognition and extraction. The mappingbetween the languages is corresponded with the standard of the intermediate files.Accomplish the recognition and extraction of part information.Secondly, in the processing of a box-part. By using BP network techniques tomake a decision intelligently for the machining features methods。Hopfield networkhave advantage in solving the travel business problem and applied to process reorder,optimization the sequence of the process, proposed the box-part process routes.Establish process knowledge base system, process knowledge base conclude a lot ofprocess data and the process rules, it supplies rich reference standards for NC processplanning.Lastly, this paper used an example of box-part to illustrate the SF-CAPP systemnot only in theory feasible, but also with a high practicability. The SF-CAPP systemcould assist process engineering to complete process planning.
