The pellet is one of the main materials of the blast furnace.It has many advantages such as comparably low cost,high grade iron,low quantity of slag,high mechanical strength and good reducibility.Because of its specific metallurgical performance,pellet is a very important ingredient for smelting.Pellet ingredient process affects the quality of pellet directly,and it is of great significance for the process of blast furnace making.To the craft of chain grate-rotary kiln of Ansteel as a background, the paper stresses on the ingredient process,analyse the influence of chemical characteristics on the quality and influence factor of chemical characteristics.To making the model more exact,the paper uses a method basing on cluster analysis to deal with ingredient data and puts forword modified MMD method to achieve the pretreatment of ingredient data.On this basis,the paper is tightly combined with practice of Ansteel,and builds the optimization model with the constraint of chemical component standard and the objective which total iron content is closest approach the requirement. The optimization model is solved with the method of genetic algorithm.This paper based on the project of optimization ingredients from Ansteel, and develop ingredients optimized software interface by C#. According to the standard of OPC, it can get data from Wincc and using ADO.NET to link C#to SQL Server database for saving, searching and updating the data. The build of the model and the calculation of ptimization model are both finished by MATLAB. The Optimization Result is showed on the interface by the hybrid programming of C#and MATLAB.
