Crystallizer is the core equipment of continuous casting machine, crystallizer vibration can prevent crystallizer wall adhesion. This paper designed a set of vibration cylinder system that put servo valve inside of the step cylinder, and analyzed its dynamic characteristics in different conditions.This paper designed a set of vibration cylinder system according to the work requirement, and analyzed the composition of electro-hydraulic step cylinder and its work principle, and expounded advantages of the design scheme. It optimized vibration cylinder with minimum energy consumption for optimizing index, calculated part of the step cylinder optimizing parameters, designed and calculated the structure of the built-in servo valve and its parameters, calculated and selected for other components.This paper first used analytic method to build servo valve-cylinder system’s model, and built simulation diagram according mathematical model, simulated and analyzed it. Make sure servo valves-oil cylinder system is stable. Build model of the vibration oil cylinder with transfer function method. Calculate system transfer functions, and establish block diagram of the transfer function. According to the mathematical model of the vibration, build the nonlinear numerical simulation model based on MATLAB/Simulink software. Do simulation analysis for system according to the simulation model. Analyze the system open-loop response, closed-loop response and the response after special external load. According to the simulation result know that the system is stable. But the stability and the quickness of response are not very good.According to the system dynamic analysis, this paper brought forward to PID controller, introduced the principle and function of PID controller, and used PID controller to control and regulate vibration oil cylinder system, to make the system to achieve rapid response and stability results. The analysis reveals the oil cylinder vibration system satisfied the design demand, it could achieve the expectant crystallizer oscillating requirements.
