In this paper, we conduct an industrial on flow and heat transfer process in four step T6cast aluminum wheels aging furnace of an industrial furnace manufacturing company. The aging furnace cast aluminum alloy wheel hub for the continuity of aging, Furnace gas flow and the flow field distribution affect the temperature distribution thus affecting the hub (the work piece being processed) heat treatment quality. So, Flow and heat transfer has very important significance on the furnace of the furnace. Because the influence of many factors furnace flow and heat transfer is very complex, Compared to it the large-scale experimental study projects is more difficult, With the development of computer technology, We can use less expensive, Faster, Efficient computational fluid dynamics CFD numerical simulation method for numerical simulation.According to the heating room of the double layer step lift T6heat treatment solid solution furnace in this paper, SolidWorks software is used to construct the ratio of physical model, Gambit is used to draw multi-block mesh, fluent software is used to establishing numerical simulation. the Standard k-ε turbulence model is used to simulate the flow and heat transfer of the turbulent flow, Reasonably simplified the model.Through the simulation, we get the following conclusions:(1) By the selection of different inlet velocity, Conduct numerical simulation respectively, we can see, different inlet velocity of heat the furnace has a greater impact directly led to the merits of the hub heated.(2) Judging from analog cloud pictures, under the same conditions, the first layer, the second layer of the hub after the heating situation is better than the after two-wheel heated. (3) Judging from the data line chart, under different inlet velocities, layers stationary hub level of the heating process is not much difference.(4) By selecting different inlet velocity, conduct twice optimizations, obtained in the inlet velocity of16.4m/s when the wheel heated optimum.The results of the studies in this paper have some certain reference value and significance to similar type furnace design and practical exercise furnace process.
