Silicone rubber molecular chain with a special structure, so that it hasexcellent high temperature properties. But with the rapid development ofscience and technology, particularly the development of the aerospace anddefense technology, the heat resistance of silicone rubber put forward higherrequirements, an urgent need to develop a new type of high-temperaturesilicone rubber material.The high-temperature, high-insulation performance silicone rubber wasprepared by using phenyl methyl vinyl silicone oil and methyl vinyl siliconeoil as substrate, methyl vinyl silicone oil containing hydrogen as the crosslinking agent, octyl trimethoxy silane as the coupling agent, diallyl maleate asthe inhibitor, platinum-tetra methyl di-vinyl silicone as the catalyst, silanecoupling agent treated aluminum oxide, SnO2,CeO2, Fe2O3,nanoCeO2andnanoFe2O3as fillers.The effect of silicone rubber matrix and cross-linking agent on properties ofheat-resistant silicone rubber was investigated. The study found that the bestoverall performance silicone rubber matrix was prepared by using phenylmethyl vinyl silicone oil/methyl vinyl silicone7:3,0.8wt%of methyl vinylsilicone oil containing hydrogen/silicone matrix1.2(molar ratio).The effect of catalyst and inhibitor on properties of heat-resistant siliconerubber was investigated. Found that when the amount of diallyl maleate0.15wt%based silicone oil, amount of platinum catalyst2.5wt%basedsilicone oil, we can obtained operation time optimal silicone rubber base.The effect of the silane coupling agent type, treatment time, the amount andcuring process on properties of heat-resistant silicone rubber was investigated.The results show that the octyl trimethoxy silane as the surface treatmentagent, the amount of the powder2wt%, processing time is2h, the activation ofthe treated powder is greater than98%; cured1h at100℃obtainedheat-resistant silicone rubber performance optimal.The effect of aluminum oxide,SnO2,CeO2, Fe2O3,nanoCeO2and nanoFe2O3on properties of heat-resistant silicone rubber was investigated.The resultsshow that when filling70wt%Al2O3,8copies of nanoFe2O3and nanoCeO2complex heat agent (ratio4:6), obtained silicone rubber hot air aging properties and heat stability performance optimal, after380℃×24h hot airaging,tensile strength retention greater than90%, the initial decompositiontemperature of the silicone rubber to improve124℃.
