This thesis is based on semi-mobile crushing station (SMCS) for ore crushing system of opencast mine project in Kazakhstan. At present, this kind of large scale SMCSs are mainly imported. As a result of this situation, the SMCS designed independently by NHI will be turning point of opencast mine equipment to break foreign monopoly. At the same time, due to the relatively large steel structure of crushing station, along with large crushing capacity, the design of steel structure becomes a key point and one of the most important problems need to be solved to carry out home-made crushing stations on this level.In this thesis, the structure and displacement of SMCS are illuminated in detail, and stress analysis of steel structure under conditions of material blocking and wind load are made as well. By adopting steel structure mechanics theory, analysis methods of finite element analysis and modal analysis, etc., integrated analysis of the steel structure of SMCS, and the optimization design of receiving hopper platform are carried out.First of all, according to the original design parameter offered by customer and the process requirements of mines, and in the condition of fulfilling production capacity, and manufacturing and installation process, the crushing station structure is designed, and large assembly of transportation and displacement are taken into consideration as well. Secondly, the steel structure mathematical model is established with ANSYS, and without effect of overall structure and performance, the model structure is properly simplified, gridded, and added with constraint and load which are also simplified to add as per the actual stress situation. Again with finite element analysis to implement analysis and optimization, the concept and the process of equipment optimization are briefly introduced, and the optimization result is shown and data is analyzed. Finally with introduction of basic concepts of modal analysis and analysis method, modal analysis for the steel structure of the crushing station is done.Via the mechanics calculation of Kazakhstan SMCS main steel structure, theoretical foundation of localization design and calculation of the SMCS is built, and furthermore the feasibility and displacing method of SMCS are considered to provide theoretical basis and calculating experience for SMCS design in future.
