The molded pulp products with its unique advantages is used very extensively, wide raw material sources, low cost, high plasticity, and low environmental pollution. For example, it is already used for fruit packaging, cushioning, disposable tableware, toys, medical supplies, furniture, garden landscape and so on. In the side of decorative material, because of its difference from other decorative material properties, such as high plasticity, good stereo effect and environment protection has been applied to some extent. But the molded pulp products as decorative material the color is single, only adding pigment in the pulp to change color, it has the certain limitation. This paper aims to improve color image and character decorative effect of molded pulp products, grope for its printability and the best technique parameters, and make the high quality of color copy come true, in order to explore its market space. With the heat transfer printing, printing and other printing methods comparison, chooses the screen printing, tests printing effect of different inks, and optimizes the parameters of screen printing. According to the characteristics of different printing and paper pulp molded decorative material, testing on screen printing is modified, but also from the offset printing control strip, design the print test forme unique for pulp molding decorative screen printing. The first comparison of UV inks and solvent-based inks respectively in100,180and300screen mesh per centimeter of the printing effect, UV ink is better than solvent-based ink in printing effect. The UV ink effect under the180screen mesh per centimeter is the best. There are as many as ten variable factors in screen printing, this experiment chooses three important factors in orthogonal experiment, there are the scraper angle, spacing and the printing pressure, each factor selected three levels in L9(34) orthogonal experiment. Optimization of UV ink technology parameters in the180meshes per centimeter conditions, the best process parameter combination copy for blade angle is70°, the silk screen distance is6.0mm, and printing pressure is0.25MPa. Orthogonal experiments were carried out respectively on fluorescence ink and metallic ink under200screen meshes per centimeter, select the most suitable process parameters. The best technological parameter of fluorescence ink is blade angle65°, the silk screen distance is6.5mm, and printing pressure is0.25MPa. The best technological parameter of metallic ink is blade angle70°, the silk screen distance is5.5mm, and printing pressure is0.25MPa. The printing effect evaluation from the field density, gloss, color difference, the wire, dot deformation, edge smoothness and ink holdout firmness seven aspects, on the field density, color and gloss three quantifiable value range analysis and variance analysis, find the significant and no significant factors.Theoretical analy the geometric parameters of the wire diameter, the relationship between lines and minimum mesh point and the minimum mesh point and the wire diameter relationship formula, according to the experiment result, minimum mesh point and the silk paper decorative material can be got, in order to provide reference for production practice of pulp molding decorative material.
