Roll forming has been a strip of metal molding technology, because of its cross-sectionalshape and longitudinal sections unlimited size, with a uniform cross-section, low energyconsumption and good economic and other advantages, making the prospect of better greeneconomy section profiles. Drawer Slides also fall into this category profiles, is used in ColdRoll Forming Process. With the rapid development of the market, the growing demand forhigh-quality cold-formed products, long trial period, the process has been relatively coarsetraditional solutions could not meet the needs of the market, while the finite element theoryand the rapid development of computer technology advancing so Numerical simulationanalysis and calculation of roll forming process, not only the possible defects in the productcan be predicted, but also in-depth analysis and optimization of process parameters.In this paper, drawer slides forming process in cold roll forming machine as the researchobject, combined with the actual production, simulation experiment, strip roller sheet design,process, analyze the detailed study on the section bending forming. The change of stress andstrain by finite element analysis software, in order to explore how to use computer to simulateand analyze the actual production, and the key parameters were analyzed, experimentalverification. This thesis mainly makes a work and obtained some conclusions:(1) With the basic parameters and working principle of the cold roll forming machineanalyzed, the effect of unit basic data of the molding, and the strip performance test, realmaterial data for finite element analysis provided;(2) For pass design on the slide rail by using analytic method, the molding board bandwidth, the forming steps determined, forming angle distribution, forming roller diagram,ready to step in numerical simulation;(3) With the use of Solidworks the three-dimensional model of the real scene isreproduced, finite element simulation for cold roll forming process. Through theAnsys/ls-dyna simulation of strip in different parameters of cold roll forming results,comparative analysis of equivalent five level board with the stress and plastic strain, thefeed speed of the strip is increased, strip the optimal feed rate is4m/s, the equivalent withcorner plate stress and plastic strain has increased with the thickness increased, withdecreasing forming angle, strip strain has been improved more gentle, plastic strain has been smaller;(4) According to the experimental data, obtained in the actual production of cold rollforming process parameters, analysis of simulation results, the simulation results with feedspeed and thickness with visible plate are consistent with actual production, forming angle ofthe actual production and simulation is slightly different, the main reason is thecomprehensive effect of product cost, quality, production efficiency.In this paper, the study of actual production data,the reliability and the stability of thecalculation process in cold roll forming process simulation method has been verified. Thefinite element rail roll forming process simulation, the forming law of strip, has a certaintheoretical significance and practical value.
