As the market sales and production mode changes from ‘sale to product’ to ‘manufactureaccording to sale’, multi-product and small lot-size production even single production isbecoming the dominant mode of production in most enterprises. Changes in production patternsalso bring a series of changes in the procurement, production planning, logistics and otheraspects, and production planning is particularly prominent. Therefore, the establishment ofreasonable and effective production planning and implementation of optimization and controlfor manufacturing enterprises to fit market needs, and to improve its competitiveness are ofimportant significance. However, many problems existing in companies restrict the production.In terms of the theory of constraints, bottleneck of production system is the most important toimprove to make the entire production process smoothly and meet customer delivery. It has alsobeen a research hotspot of production managers and related academic research. This paper takesH Company large processing workshops as the research object to study the production planningand control.On account of the study of production schedule, the theory of constraint, modeling andsimulation optimization, the DBR production planning and controlling means based on discreteevent modeling and simulation optimization is proposed. The production system data as for aswork data, process data and capacity data are collected and the model of the production systemis built. And the model is run to determine the location of bottleneck. Identifying the bottleneckof system, the DBR production planning and control system is used for production schedulingof bottleneck process, the current system data is get. The parameters of DBR are optimizedthrough simulation and improved simulated annealing. Finally, the scheduling with DBR isimplemented in accordance with the optimized parameters.
