Blanking is widely used in various industries because of its features of high speed, highefficiency, high accuracy, high material utilization and low cost, etc. In recent years, becausemy nation support and develop high-precision, high-end industries vigorously, such as IT,instruments and meters, electronic communications, etc. People’s demand for thin, delicatefilm is also keeping growing. How to get the film parts which have good cross-section quality,good size, high dimensional accuracy by blanking has become one of the research direction ofthe current high attention. In the film parts, the most common are metal foil parts by blanking.In the process of experimental study and theoretical analysis to blanked parts whosemaximum thickness is only0.2mm, we met a lot of problem can’t be solved by traditionalmethod or traditional theory. For this type of blanking, the current study is also very limited.The article study the film blanking technology through the aluminum blanking machinein Beijing TSTD Photoelectric Technology Co. Ltd’s project of automated production line ofphone speaker. The main object of study is blanking of Plate (Washer) in the phone speaker.Plate’s (Washer’s) material is6061aluminum alloy, and its thickness range is0.1mm~0.25mm. Through study of blanking of it, the paper will design a set of molds to meetcustomer requirements. The design process of this mold is also the research process of thefilm blanking.In addition, we determine the best clearance of blanking of6061aluminum foil of0.1mm thickness in the way of experience and Deform-2D finite element simulation softwarein order to study the best clearance value of film blanking. And the article study stress andstrain,wear and temperature field changes of blanking mold as the research’s focus. Finally,the paper will verify the accuracy of mathematical model and the finite element simulation bya comparative study of parts of film blanking and combining theory with practice.
