Stamping is a kind of processing method that utilize punching equitment and die to product workpiece which we wanted and it is a kind of Plastic processing. Stamping process has the characteristics of high production efficiency and high material utilization ratio,so stamping process has been widely used in the modern manufacturing industry.Punching, as one of the important processing methods in stamping process,is widely used b ecause of the advantages of the stamping process.It is not very easy to get qualified punching parts,because the stress and deformation of the blank in the punching process is very complicated and there are a lot of factors that will affect the process of punching.If we do not have a profound understanding about the punching process and those factors how to impact it,it is possible that the workpiece which we maked is low qualified or not qualified,even die will scrap.Based on the above factors,in order to obtain the high qualified workpiece and exert the advantages of high processing efficiency and high material utilization ratio,it is necessary to research punching process and those factors how to impact it.In this way, we can make use of the advantages of the punching process to produce high quality work piece, for our manufacturing production to create benefits.In this paper, the T2 copper bus bar with 6mm thickness is the experimental object,We start with the theoretical analysis, and combined with the finite element simulation and experiment to make a profund analysis about the punching. This topic first through the theoretical analysis of punching to understand the process of punching characteristics of punching and the relevant characteristics of the punching parts.After we understand the punching process and the characteristics of punching parts. We analyze the impact factors of the punching mechanism and the effect of these factors on the process of punching,and through the analysis,We determined the blanking clearance and the die cutting edge as our variable parameter to study the process of punching when we conduct the finite element simulation and experiment.After we have a basic understanding about the punching process and the factors that affect it,we use the Deform-3D software to analysis punching process.Through the finite element simulation, we analyzed the stress and strain of the plate during the punching process, and analyzed the influence of blanking clearance and die cutting edge on the section quality of punching parts and die wear.In order to study the punching process of the copper bus and the factors how to affect the punching process in a scientific and more practical way,we have carried on the experiment analysis to the punching process.We use different blanking clearance and different edge situation die to punch on copper bus,by comparing the quality of punching parts to analyze the the above parameters how to affect the punching process,and summed up the impact of the law.This topic from the theoretical analysis, simulation and experiment of the three aspects to make a profund study on punching process of copper busbar.Through these studies we summed up the influence of the blanking clearance and the state of the die cutting edge on the punching process,and we found the reasonable blanking clearance range of T2 copper bus with 6mm thickness.By analyzing the influence of these factors,it can help us make a more reasonable choice about punching parameters in the future and improve the quality of punching parts,so this thesis has an important academic significance and engineering guiding significance on punching in the future.
