Along with the aging population and labor costs rising, competition from cheap labor advantage in today’s competition in the market share is gradually disappearing, although China is the one of countries which have most cheap and most abundant labor force, but this advantage is diminishing. Since joining the WTO, along with the increasingly fierce market competition, manufacturing industry in our country, especially in the equipment manufacturing industry, the implementation of scientific management and fine management is the only way to survival and development in the future. In today’s competitive global market, to have advantage, enterprises on the one hand, to improve labor productivity, timely response to market, meet market demand, on the other hand to reduce the cost, especially to reduce labor costs. As a dedicated machine assembly manufacturing enterprises, one problem must face is how to provide accurate reasonable scheme and satisfactory products as fast as it possible. Work study is created to solve this problem, the purpose of which is under the condition of less investment, or not, only through the analysis and restructure of the scene, can increase the productivity of existing resources, improve the production efficiency. Work study is a combination of engineering and management of interdisciplinary technology.This paper is based on the dedicated machine assembly manufacturing enterprises as the research object, through analyzing the characteristics of the enterprise’s production, clearing requirements of dedicated machine assembly manufacturing enterprises to the development of the task time, using the "5W1H" and "ECRS" technique, to find problems and methods of improvement on dedicated machine assembly process; According to the production site, through the analysis the type of enterprises of the limitations of the current task time making, combining with the characteristics of dedicated machine assembly manufacturing production process, the time of industrial engineering research on the basis of the related theory and method of study, using the most effective action analysis to measure and calculate assembly process time requirements of the SZWX milling machine, through the analysis, optimization of assembly process, standardized assembly process, and verified the production, accounting accurate time requirements, formulate the corresponding standard time; at the same time, using methods of work study, systematic analysis of the whole machine assembly, the assembly process split modular, modular assembly drawing assembly process flow diagram, Gantt chart of duration control, eventually form module assembly process with the scientific and reasonable layout.Institute with all the data is from the assembly line production activities, which ensure the authenticity and applicability of the corresponding standard time. Through methods of assembly time requirements and assembly process study data, provides the reference for decision-making for the production management. Research results to further optimize the assembly process and operation process, improve the assembly site management level, improve the manufacturing process, reduce the enterprise operational risk, and the production cost, and improve the enterprise competitiveness.
