Palletizing die plate is pivotal and damageable parts on the process of plastic raw materials, such as polyethylene and polypropylene. Its quality directly influences the quality and production of plastic raw materials. For a long time, domestic petrochemical enterprises depend on the die plate import, which seriously affects the safety of equipment running and the development of new products.In this paper, CMP320large extruder’s palletizing die plate in Jilin Petrochemical Corporation was chosen as the investigating subject. In order to solve the problem of using inport palletizing die plate, the three-dimensional entity model of palletizing die plate is established by using Solidworks software ANSYS software was used for the numerical simulation of the granulation template. Simulation is mainly including strength and stiffness analysis, granulation template flow field analysis and optimization, and granulation temperature field analysis of template. According to the results of numerical simulation, the optimal structure design scheme is put forward. The template surface heat treatment and hardening method based on lots of experiments are suggested, that are succeeded in producing a new high-efficiency granulation template. The optimized template of low density polyethylene have been used on ethylene device in Jilin Petrochemical Company. The actual result shows that various performance indexes of the optimized template to equel or exceed the imported template.
