The Empirical Study About The Relationship Between Economic Growth And Environmental Quality Of Hebei Province

In recent years, China’s economy has maintained a high state of development. However,the contradiction between economic growth and environmental quality has becomeincreasingly prominent. The Ministry of environmental protection issued the "state of theEnvironment Bulletin" shows that China: China city water resources and serious air pollution,solid waste emissions is increasing year by year. At the same time, Hebei provinceenvironmental quality condition is not optimistic, the province affected by theenergy industrystructure, waste emissions remain high, haze weather occur from time to time. In thisbackground, this paper aims to analyze the economic growth in Hebei province and therelationship between environmental quality,find a way to coordinate the relationship betweenthe two, the ultimate realization of the green rise of Hebei province.In this paper the time series data of Hebei Province during the relevant year,analyzes thepresent situation and the change tendency of Hebei province’s economic growth andenvironmental quality; the use of SPSS software, is used to construct the index system ofHebei Province, economic growth and environmental quality analysis method of maincomponent, and from theselected comprehensive evaluation index system to represent theeconomic growth and the environment the quality of the. The use of EViews software,theshape of EKC curve to fit the relationship between economic growth andenvironmentalquality by using the least square method, and then speculated that the inflection point of time.Finally, analysing the contradiction from the relationship between economic growth andenvironmental quality, combined with the actual situation in Hebei Province, puts forwardsome countermeasures and suggestions to coordinate the relationship between the two fromthe optimization of the industrial structure, promoting technological innovation etc..Through empirical research to draw the following conclusions: there existscointegrationrelationship between economic growth and environmental quality index of Hebei, the EKCcurve of the two is inverted "U" type, the inflection point appears in the current policyenvironment to reach57583yuan in Hebei Province, the per capita GDP, time is around2050.However,EKC curve by the end of2014in Hebei province was a rising trend year by year.Therefore, the present stage Hebei province should stabilize the rate of economic growth, the economy of scale and adapt to environmental bearing capacity; the optimization ofindustrial structure, reduce the proportion of secondary industry; speed up the industrialtransformation and upgrading, to solve the excess capacity; to increase environmentalprotection investment,promote environmental technology progress.
