The Study On Relationship Between Hebei Province's Economic Growth And Environmental Pollution

In recent years, with China's economic rising rapidly, the environment problem is very prominent in the world. Discussing the relationship between economy and environment gradually becomes the focus in the domestic. Also, as a big province of China, Hebei province's economic develops fast, as the same time, its environmental pollution is increasingly prominent. So, there is what kind of relationship between the environment and economic growth in Hebei province? It has become very necessary to promote the coordinated development of economy and environment that study the relationship between the two and understand the degree of mutual influence and the internal mechanism.This article is divided into five parts to study on the problem. Firstly, by reading a large number of literature, the research framework of this paper is put forward on the basis of overall understanding in the field of the research status, content and methods; Secondly, in this paper the concept of the research object is defined and theoretical foundation is laid for the later empirical analysis after analyzing the related theory about relationship between economy and environment; Thirdly, the present situation of economic development and environmental pollution in Hebei province are described and analyzed, and through the graph form, the trend of the developments of the two are clearly shown; Then the empirical analysis is carried on in two steps by selecting the economic and environmental data from 1991 to 2012 in Hebei province: in the first step per capita GDP as economic growth indicators, five types of environmental pollutants emissions as environmental indicators, using Eviews software, the interaction degree and importance are get through the impulse response and variance decomposition analysis, in the second step based on the Stern decomposition model of pollutant emissions, five economic factors selected, under SPSS software, the decomposition analysis is made for the economic impact on the environment and the internal mechanism of the effect is obtained; Finally, through the analysis of the present situation and the result of empirical analysis, the corresponding policy suggestions are put forward from four aspects, in order to help promote coordinated development of economy and environment in Hebei province.
