Research On The Relationship Between Economic Growth And Environmental Quality In Henan Province

With the increasing scale of the global economy and the increasing number of people around the world,the living environment of human beings has been deteriorating,and the problem of environmental degradation caused by rapid economic growth has attracted more and more attention.In recent years,the focus of economic development in Henan Province has shifted from the primary industry to the secondary industry.The secondary industry is a highly polluting industry,and the environmental carrying capacity has changed with changes in the economic structure.At the same time of rapid economic growth,environmental pollution has also brought various problems.How to achieve the minimum level of environmental pollution while economic growth is the key to the upgrading and transformation of Henan's industrial structure,and we must pay attention to it.Based on a large number of domestic and foreign literatures,this paper analyzes the economic growth of Henan Province from the perspective of Henan Province's GDP and per capita GDP,the proportion of the three industries' added value and the pull rate.It is found that in terms of comparable prices,the regional GDP and the per capita GDP of Henan Province have increased by about 6 times in 18 years;the decline of the primary industry in Henan Province is similar to that of the secondary industry,and the tertiary industry It has been around 30%;before 2015,the economy of Henan Province was mainly driven by the secondary industry,and in 2016 and 2017 it was mainly driven by the tertiary industry.From the industrial "three wastes" and forest area,cultivated land area,forest coverage,garden coverage of built-up areas,per capita park green area and total environmental management investment as a percentage of regional GDP,the status of environmental quality is analyzed,and the industrial "three wastes" are found.Controlled in recent years,especially industrial wastewater discharge.In terms of ecological environment,the proportion of garden coverage,per capita park green space and total environmental management investment in the built-up area has accounted for the corresponding standards set by the international standards in recent years.Based on the theory of sustainable development,synergy theory and EKC curve theory,the relationship between economic growth and environmental quality in Henan Province was evaluated.Through the establishment of two major economic and environmental indicators,typical correlation analysis is carried out,and a comprehensive index of economy and environment is constructed.Then the comprehensive index is used to fit the environmental Kurenets curve of Henan Province.Finally,it is found that the per capita GDP in the economic system,the proportion of the three major industries and the general industrial solid waste generation in the environmental system,the forest area,and the forest coverage rate are mutually inhibiting;the regional production in the economic system The value,total import and export volume,forest area in the environmental system,forest coverage,and per capita park green area are mutually positive positive coordination roles..Studies have shown that the coordination type of economy and environment in Henan Province has developed from the economic lag type before 2011 to the economic environment synchronization type from 2011 to 2013 and then to the environmental lag type after 2013.The study found that the environmental Kuznets curve in Henan Province is not a traditional inverted "U" type,but an "N" type.The test results and fitting results show that the good interaction between the economy and the environment in Henan Province is in its infancy.In the end,it is concluded that adjusting the industrial structure,transforming the economic growth model,increasing scientific and technological innovation,increasing investment in environmental protection funds,and strengthening supervision can achieve sound economic and environmental development.
