The machining system is in vast quantities and most widely used in industrialfield, but it severe damage to environment with enormous energy consumption and lowefficiency. A large number of surveys show that the CNC machine tool energyutilization is very low, less than30%in average, which means that its energy-savingpotential is huge. The main drive system energy consumption is the main unit energyconsumption of CNC machine tool, which mainly reflects in main drive system ofenergy flow that account for more than95%of the whole machine tool processingsystem to transmit power, thus to explore the CNC machine tool main drive systemenergy consumption characteristics, based on energy utilization rate equation of maintransmission system operation and energy saving measures for the optimization of thewhole machine saving energy has very important significance. Therefore, this thesismainly focuses on main transmission system energy consumption characteristics andthe main shaft optimized energy saving technology of CNC milling machine which hasbeen widely applied in CNC machine tool. The main work is as follows: ofFirstly, description and modeling the motor system and mechanical drive systemin main drive system respectively. Then concluded the universal energy flowmathematical model of CNC machine tools and set up a CNC milling machine maindrive system of power balance equation.Secondly, after analysis of the established CNC milling machine main drivesystem of power balance equation, the main transmission system model of energyconsumption and energy utilization rate equation have been concluded. It is concludedthat the main drive system optimization of energy saving way through the analysis ofmain drive system of energy utilization equation.In the next step, established the function between spindle rotation speed powerand acceleration time of main drive system. By choosing suitable spindle’s acceleratingtime of frequency converter to reduce energy consumption, so as to reduce total energyconsumption of main drive system and eventually improve energy efficiency in maindrive system.Eventually, some confirmatory experiments were performed on the XK713CNCmilling machine. The results verified the effictiveness of the research conclusion.
