With the improvement of people’s living standard and strengthening of environmental protection consciousness,natural fiber will be more and more popular day by day.linen fiber with a good sense of cool,clean,and have good moisture absorption & moisture conductivity,enzyme resistant,anti-moth and other fine performance by the majority of consumers.But,there are major problems as follows:first,Linen textiles are mainly pure products,little species,so it is difficult to knitting applications;second,as linen fiber is crude(low linen fiber separation index),is used to produce rough fabric only,which is low product grade and sales of seasonal;High price of raw material,worse spinnability,long technological process and other factors,which make the line products high price,last,Self-defects of linen fiber,such as easy crinkle and worse dyeing property affect the appearance and wearability of the linen textiles,besides,Less market propaganda result in linen products are mainly export-oriented,low coverage in China’s market,it is vulnerable to fluctuate by international situation.These largely limit the application of linen products and the development of the linen industry.Base on characteristics of the linen wet spinning process and equipments,this paper studied on a new method of linen wet-blended spinning.Siro-spun was introduced into the process of the linen wet blended spinning.This paper did some researches as follows:(1) influence of blending ratio on properties of linen long / acrylic and linen long/polyester blended yarn and fabric;(2) as well as influence of the length of the blended fiber on properties of linen long blended yarn and fabric;(3) Did twist experiments of linen(long) 50 / Polyester(51mm) 50 and linen(long) 50 / Polyester(88mm) to study the influences of twist on the quality of blended yarn,and optimized the best twist factor.(4) Contrasted test between the linen long blended yarn and linen short blended yarn.The results showed that:(1)the yarn tenacity of Linen(long)/ Polyester(88mm) would be down along with the increase of the content of polyester first,while down to a certain point,it increased with the further increase of polyester content.Through theoretical calculation,we found that When blended ratio of the linen(long)/polyester was 45/55,the yarn tenacity of the linen blended with polyester was the lowest,this blended ratio was the critical blended ratio,it should not be generated in production。(2) When Acrylic components subjected to tensile elongation to the elongation at break of linen yarn,by acrylic,the force value of acrylic components SAB made contribution for the blended yarn was lower than the breaking strength of pure acrylic yarn S腈纶,and lower than breaking strength of pure linen yarn S亚麻,namely:SAB<S腈纶<S亚麻,so the yarn tenacity of Linen (long)/acrylic(88mm) would decrease continuously along with the increase of the content of acrylic,there was no critical blended ratio of strength.Based on the result of theoretical calculation,while the ratio of acrylic mare than 75%,Acrylic would not make contribution to improve elongation of linen blended yarn.(3) Whether the introduction of polyester or acrylic,would improve the quality of appearance of linen yarn considerably.Corresponding to the respective blended fabric,not only improved the anti-wrinkle and softness of the linen fabric,and when the ratio of polyester and acrylic fiber was less than 50%,fabric air permeability dropped below 12%.For permeability of the linen fabric, while the ratio of polyester was 50%,the permeability reduction rate of only 8.8%.(4)As the length of polyester fiber was 88mm,the tenacity and elongation of blended yarn were significantly higher than the yarn linen blended with cotton -type or mid-long type polyester fiber.And also they had the equivalent performance.But overall,the appearance quality of blended yarn depended on the ratio of polyester.When the ratio was lower than 50%,the appearance quality of linen long/ polyester(88mm) blended yarn was better than linen long/ polyester(51mm) blended yarn;if the ratio was higher than 50%,less influence by the length of polyester.But the quality of linen long/polyester(51mm) blended yarn was little better than linen long/polyester(88ram) blended yarn,which was mainly due to polyester fiber fineness was thin, which made it difficult to draft.So it was appropriate to choose the short polyester fiber if the ratio of polyester was high.Generally speaking,less influence on the properties of fabric.(5)As the metric twist factor of Linen long 50 / polyester 50(51mm) and linen 50 / polyester 50(88mm) was 91,the tenacity and elongation of linen50/polyester 50 was the highest,so this twist factor was the critical twist factor,were lower than the twist factor of a pure long-spun linen. The twist factor of pure linen(long) yarn was 98.(6) Overall,weather the length of polyester fiber was 51mm or 88mm,the yarn various properties indicators of the linen long blended with polyester were higher than linen short blended with polyester;whether linen short or linen long which blended with polyester,the yarn properties of linen blended with polyester(88mm) were slightly better than polyester 51 mm.
