With the improvement of living standards,people have higher requirements for wearing properties,the fabric need to be more comfortable and has a fluffy and soft effect,and is a "green product".This demand is more intense in the infant product market.There are two main types of soft products on the market today.One is the addition of silicone softeners to soften the fabric and this way often increase the amount of silicone softeners.However,silicones are chemical reagents.In fact,people are more looking forward to more natural products;Another is to increase the softness of the fabric by pulling hair.Such products are soft due to the large amount of fluff on the surface,which is unfavorable for health when the human body inhales.And both of these products require several more weaving procedures,wasting human and material resources.But the design of the low twist yarn fabric of siro spinning can make it fluffy and soft without causing the above problems,so as to meet the requirements of safety and softness of the baby clothing.The yarns studied in this paper are 40 s siro spinning low-twist yarns made from blended longstaple cotton and fine-cotton cotton.This article will study low-twist products from two aspects:(1)This paper studied the process of 40 s low twist yarn,and studied the spinability and corresponding performance of low twist yarn by changing the mixing cotton,roving twist factor,yarn twist factor,speed of spindle for spinning frame,and the center distance of the bells on the spinning machine.(2)Based on the research of yarns,develop corresponding low-twist yarn knitted fabrics,and explore their performance,and investigate whether they are suitable for infants and young children's products.The study shows that:(1)With the increasing of the long-staple cotton,the twist coefficient could be lower.When there is 70% long-staple cotton in the yarn,the twist coefficient of the yarn can be as low as 190.Therefore,if we want to spin a yarn with a lower twist coefficient and satisfy the weaving requirements,we only need to increase the content of long-staple cotton in the yarn.Under the premise of meeting the requirements of knitting yarn,the lower the twist of yarn,the more suitable for infant products.When the yarn twist factor is 230 and the content of the long-staple cotton is 50%,with the roving twist coefficient is increased from 120 to 180,the breaking strength is increased by 3.5% to 8.5%.If the subsequent yarn twist coefficient is low,the roving twist coefficient can be increased to ensure its strength.At this time,the speed of spindle for spinning frame changed from 8000 r/min to 10000 r/min has little influence on the yarn index,so the spindle speed can be appropriately increased to ensure the yarn yield.When the yarn twist coefficient of low-twist yarn increases,the breaking strength of low-twist yarn increases significantly.Among them,when the content of long-staple cotton is higher,the improvement of the twist coefficient has greater influence on the strength;in addition,as the twist coefficient increases,the increase in fracture strength is decreasing.(2)The changes in the orientation of the spun yarn do not change the specifications of the yarn,but the process of retreating during the weaving process increases the thickness,increases the flexibility,and decreases the air permeability and moisture permeability.(3)The lower the twist of the yarn in the fabric,the greater the thickness of the fabric and the lower the stiffness,the more fluffy and soft the product is,and can meet the requirements of personal clothing.(4)The decrease in the content of long-staple cotton in the yarn increases the number of hairiness.When the content of long-staple cotton is reduced from 70% to 30%,the hairiness index which is more than 3mm is increased.The increase in hairiness will hinder the transmission of moisture and gas molecules,resulting in the air permeability decreases and the wet resistance increases.The improvement of breathability and moisture permeability is beneficial to the comfort of the fabric,and the higher the content of the long-staple cotton,the lower the twist of the spun yarn,the more fluffy the fabric,and the higher the breathability.Therefore,the increase of the content of long-staple cotton in the yarn can make the fabric fluffy,soft and breathable.(5)The twist coefficient of all the low-twist fabrics in this paper was between 190-250,but the two important indicators--pilling and pilling(level 3)and bursting strength(460N and above),which could reach corresponding values.Because of these,this kind of fabric could be directly put into production.
