Vegetables, is an important economic crop in China, an important source of farmers' income. Wuhan possess the unique location advantage of the development of vegetable industry, and the vegetable industry plays an important role in agriculture in Wuhan. In recent years, however, with the rapid development of vegetable industry, the vegetable production change from short supply to oversupply gradually, the contradiction of production and marketing will be more sharp. Since the existence of the contradiction of vegetables production and marketing, Example "the higher the vegetable yield, the poorer the farmers" is not uncommon in reality, farmers'economic benefits need to be improved. So, how to enhance the production efficiency of the vegetables and increase farmers'income through allocating the resources reasonably and effectively, is very important. The paper takes Wuhan's vegetable industry as the research object. From the perspective of rational and optimal allocation of resources, with C-D production function, using the combination of normative analysis and empirical analysis, using the combination of qualitative and quantitative analysis method, this paper analyses in detail vegetable production's inputs and outputs in Wuhan, and on this basis, investigates the effect of various factors of production's inputs on the outputs of vegetable, for one thing looking forward to enriching theoretical knowledge of agricultural products input-output and vegetable industry, for another expecting to give some guidance about increasing vegetable production, improving the efficiency of vegetables and developing vegetable industry. The paper includes six parts:The first part:Foreword. It mainly introduces this study's background and significance, summarizes the document series of vegetable industry home and abroad, established the research contents, methods and technical routes, and put forward the paper's creative points and shortages. The second part:The status of the development of vegetable industry of Wuhan. This part includes the characteristics and challenges of vegetable industry of Wuhan, is as for the background and basis of input-output analysis. The third part:The input analysis of vegetables production in Wuhan. From the composition analysis of the input elements of Wuhan's vegetables production, this paper compare the vegetables input in different production mode (greenhouse vegetables and outdoor vegetables, dominant varieties vegetables and ordinary varieties vegetables), and analysis the changes of production input of the vegetables in Wuhan. The fourth part:The output analysis of vegetables in Wuhan. This paper mainly compare the vegetables output in different production mode (greenhouse vegetables and outdoor vegetables, dominant varieties vegetables and ordinary varieties vegetables), and analysis the changes of production output of the vegetables in Wuhan. The fifth part:The evaluations of the input-output benefit of vegetables production in Wuhan. On the basis of the hypothesis of the input elements, with the regression analysis, judge whether the vegetables production input of Wuhan reach the rational and optimal allocation of resources, and confirm the impact of input elements on the vegetables output. The sixth part:The conclusions and suggestions. From the problem of vegetables production in Wuhan, make suggestions about rational allocation of resources, improving the economic benefit of vegetables.
