Research On Supplier Choice Of Fumian Company

FuMian company is a joint-stock private enterprise. It mainly produces yarn , fabric, and cloth .With the development of economy,the competition between enterprises is becoming more and more fierce. This kind of invisible competition largely changed into the supply chains'competition . Suppliers as the source of the supply chain occupy an important position. How to optimize Suppliers'choice is a critical and difficult task . It is also a base to establish strategic cooperation relations. FuMian company's raw materials are mainly cotton and fiber. And the quantity of cotton is much more than the fiber's. It is a guarantee of FuMian company to select suppliers in a reasonable way. At the same time, it is also a guarantee to make the company run smoothly.The study combines theory and practice to analyse the problem in suppliers'selection of FuMian company.Firstly, the dissertation described the study of suppliers'selection at home and abroad. It introduces the management of supply chain and supplier management concept. It analyses the necessity of supply chain management. It also introduces FuMian company's development, supply chain model , the company's production and operation status. Then analyse raw material demand's characteristics of FuMian company according to the 2008 purchasing data. It summarized the problems in supplier management of FuMian company. Thirdly, the dissertation analyses the important factors which affect the suppliers'selection of FuMian company. It sets up the index system according to the important factors. Use the method of expert scoring, triangular fuzzy number and fuzzy TOPSIS method to set up FuMian company suppliers'selection model. At the end, applying 2010 FuMian company's suppliers'selection as an example to prove the validity of the model.
