With the process of global economy of integration and continuous fierce survival competition among enterprises, the competition between supply chains turns out focus for enterprises. Their own strength is no longer the standard to judge whether an enterprise is competitive or not. The ability to integrate resources takes its position instead. Joint inventory management plays the decisive role for the continuous and stable development of supply chain partnerships as the effective way to integrate the supply chain resources. Reasonable and effective supply chain cooperation can reduce the storage cost. Quick response ability and efficient customer response ability become the decisive factors for the survival and development of an enterprise. All the above needs full consideration of the time effects on the cost in joint inventory control. Therefore, it has realistic significance to research on the time cost control in joint inventory of supply chain.Joint inventory control of supply chain is mainly researched in this thesis adopting the way of time cost control. The characters of current supply chain management and the structure model of joint inventory are firstly analyzed. Then relevant factors that may affect joint inventory control are analyzed. The conception and some basic methods of time cost control in joint inventory control of supply chain are advanced based on this. Time for money method is mainly adopted to control the joint inventory and time cost is taken as the only factor to establish the model. The respective answering process is given out after the astringency and efficiency of algorithm proved and the best result is gotten based on the time cost of joint inventory control of supply chain using Hybrid Genetic Algorithm (HGA), i.e. Simulated Annealing Genetic Algorithm. Meanwhile, the traditional joint inventory control model is compared based on multilevel storage and the model in this thesis is better than the traditional one is concluded, yet the model established in this thesis is fit for real situation is proved. Finally, the scientificity and feasibility of the content discussed and the model established in this thesis are proved.The purpose of this thesis is to increase the reaction rate of the market and to reduce the running cost for an enterprise based on the time cost of JMI of supply chain. The establishment of the model and study of the example provide a better strategy for JMI of supply chain. Content and conclusion researched can provide lessons and theoretical direction for nodal enterprises in supply chain in practice.
