Applied Research On Inventory Control Model In The Warehouse Management System

Warehouse management system is the core business of information management and effective inventory management can increase the storage space utilization, increase productivity, reduce inventory amount of funds and reduce production costs. In a modern warehouse management system used in some new technologies, such as three-dimensional cargo space management, cargo space optimization model, radio frequency identification (RFID) technology, software reuse. However, Most of the Warehouse Management System is lack of application of inventory control model, so forecast and control of inventory data is relatively weak. Accordingly, the subject put forward the research and application of the inventory control models in warehouse management system. The main work and achieve- ments are as follows:First, in this paper start from the basic concepts and theories, explained and defined warehouse management and inventory control concepts, and then bring forward the cont- radictions existing in inventory control.Secondly, analyze the inventory control strategies, research on the methods and invent tory control model. This paper focuses on the three models, ABC classification, inventory control method reorder point, economic order quantity model, and optimize its proposed on the basis of a fixed volume, allowing Shortage model and shipments associated with the e- xisting inventory control model.Finally, the study's model is applied to storage management prototype system. In this paper, analyze the needs of the target system and planning for the system function structure and Web database management system to determine the system's development tools and development methods. And it's made use of B / S model as the architecture of the system, B / S structure of the system has the advantage of low-cost, easy installation and maintena- nce, cross-platform operation and a unified, friendly user interface and so on. While applic- ation of theoretical results which fully demonstrated the inventory control model is feasibi- lity and valuable in the actual production.
