Research On The Establishment Of Forestry Cooperative Organizations In Jiangxi Province

In recent years, as with the gradually progress of forest tenure reform, how to accomplish large-scale operation of forest land has being paid more attentions by researchers. As a important model of accomplishing large-scale operation, the development of Forestry Professional Cooperative organizations (FPCOs) has been emphasized by government and experts since its beginning. Actively playing the role of FPCOs is helpful to the development of forestry well and increase of the harvest of forest area and income of forest farmers.By using the analysis method of documents, this paper systematic reviewed and analyzed the research achievement and main practical experience of professional FPCOs at home and abroad, made the collation and analysis on two foreign models and summarized the experience, which is valuable to the development of FPCOs in china.This paper has deeply and systematically analyzed the main types, function and operation mechanism of FPCOs in Jiangxi province, and made analysis and overall evaluation on their supply and demand.Taking FPCOs in Fuliang county of Jiangxi province as an example, using empirical research method, through conversations and questionnaire survey with 5 FPCOs and 100 forest farmers. This paper systematically analyzed the establishment mechanism benefits distribution mechanism and decision-making mechanism and existing problems of FPCOs in this county; analyzed cooperation willingness, cooperation effect and forest cooperative organizations'inner management suggestion of cooperative forest farmers and pointed out their existing deficiency. Based on the above research, this paper made some conclusions about FPCOs:the professional FPCOs in Jiangxi province is favorable for forest farmers'developing forestry; the establishment of professional forest cooperative organization is still not standard; the development of FPCOs is not sufficient. Finally this paper put forward the countermeasures and suggestions on establishing and perfecting FPCOs in Jiangxi province.This paper is one part of the social research project for Professor Kong Fanbin.
