In this paper, a prototype software of e-HR system was designed and developed, based on the development of Shanghai S company's human resources information system and guided by the basic development principles and methods of management information system. The mission and goals of this system were described, and so was the detailed information about its system analysis, system design and the technology and applications of system implementation.In the first chapter, the introduction of this paper, the background, objectives and scope of the development and use of this information systems were briefly described. So that readers of this paper can get a rough idea of the system.In the second chapter, the analysis of system requirement, a thorough description of S company's business processes, organizational structure and problems in material management was conducted. Appropriate solutions were proposed, and feasibility analysis, based on technical, economic and operational points, of the solution was conducted too.In the third chapter, the logic programs of the new system, The logic design of the new system, including data flow diagrams, data dictionary (consists of data flow, data processing, data storage, external items, data elements and so on), basic processing, was explained in depth. The data processing functions, data input, output, storage, data source and destination of the e-HR system were logically and precisely described.In the fourth chapter, the overall design of the system, the modules'structure of the new system was introduced in great detail. And four module IPO diagrams wre took as examples to study the internal structures of each module. In the section of database design, the entities, relationship, ERD, transformation rules and the relationship between models of this system, and the specific design of each database tables, the hardware configuration, reliability and security of the new system were emphasized at great length, which laid a solid foundation for the transformation from a logic program to a executable physical program based on computer and communication system.In the fifth chapter, the detailed design of the system, code design, interface design and some modules specific coding of the new system were described, along with some GUI pictures about the user interface of the system in order to make readers gain a better understanding of this system.In the sixth chapter, the profiles of implementation, detailed information about system testing was described. Since the system testing is the key point to the reliability of the entire system and also is the final assessment of the system analysis, system design and system code, testing procedures and test plans had been expounded. Brief introduction of conversion, operation and maintenance of the system was given too.In the seventh chapter, the conclusion part of this paper, a review of the development had been made.At last, deep gratitude was presented for the help and support of my intstrctor during the preparation of this paper. The reference list and some source code were present at the end of the paper.
