The Research Of Schedule Control On The Project Of ZB Vessels Middle Lever Maintenance

As new requirement rise from nowadays war, navy departments reinforce the management about the maintenance procedure of naval vessels in order to make sure more vessels ready to be put into sea wars, they ask more and more strict delivery maintenance period. However, due to limitation of characterizations of vessels'maintenance itself, there are unforeseeable risks about procedure. Long delivery time of some parts and unforeseeable difficulties are two main reasons to delay the maintenance.In this paper, ZB middle lever vessel maintenance project management method is used to study how to deal with risk and how to control procedure in a project.In chapter 1, a background of project procedure control and vessel maintenance management is summarized. In chapter 2, an introduction of ZB vessel project and it's maintenance company(XZ) is presented, possible difficulties for XZ to finish maintenance ZB vessel on time are also analyzed. In Chapter 3, a control plan is proposed on how to figure out those difficulties and make sure XZ can finish ZB maintenance on time, and an optimized project time schedule is also proposed. In chapter 4, project time schedule is realized in an example project, effects of control plan is analyzed, based on which further improvement plan is proposed.In this paper, an effective control plan on how to lower down maintenance period risk in ZB project is proposed, which is tested in an example project. Results from this paper can be referred in other management of vessel maintenance projects.
