ITSM Implement Program For SME In China

With the growing of information technology, life and production are associated with information technology in a wide range. Information technology in business operations efficient, accurate, innovation and heritage has played an irreplaceable role. However, the IT related issues have become increasingly apparent. Many businesses often have, such as:high IT investment but no highly improved efficiency; more advanced equipment but problem not resolved, IT staff is working hard but still get complains from users. This is due to lack of effective IT management.ITSM (IT Service Management) as the most popular IT management has studied and practiced in the West for nearly 30 years. Most of the companies are still using traditional IT management model, and the ITSM research in China is in initial stage currently.The most of the companies have implemented ITSM are telecommunications, electricity, health care and financial industries. Relative to these enterprises, the majority of SMEs has much more difficult to implement ITSM. So, to find a path for SME to have ITSM is a certain practical significance.The implementation of ITSM is built on the basis of process management, and hardware and software implementation is one of the approaches to present the process. SMEs can take the ITSM concept, self-optimize the ITSM process which meet its own needs and easy for them to carry out.Based on the four domestic manufacturing enterprise's IT management survey, I summarized management deficiencies and problems, and then designed a simple IT management processes with document templates which are easy for SME to work with. I hope it can be a useful reference for the IT leaders in SME when they are trying to involve ITSM in.
