With economic development, project management has become an important management tool. In many areas, as the central model of the enterprises operation, project management-oriented model becomes an effective means of rapidly raising the core competitiveness. Project management and operation level determines the results of projects and also directly affects the business performance. Meanwhile, all industries are now faced with product life cycles shortened, the proportion of customized products increased, etc., so the quality and speed of product development has become a magic weapon to win in business competition. Most of the R&D is conducted in the form of projects, and R & D teams are the main body of new product development as well as the basis to ensure success.But in the enterprises'R&D project practice, a lot of problems have appeared: R&D project standards are not uniform and lack of effective assessment; lack of internal and external coordination during the R&D course; difficult to control the project process so that the quality problems happen, etc.. These problems can be solved by project managers actually. However, in these fields, professional project managers are severely under-resourced for the reasons of system and culture of our country. Most project managers are used to be technology experts and lack of project management capacity. So, the training of professional project managers becomes the key to the success of projects.Combined with the case study of W Company's R&D, the article focuses on the explanation of professionalized training mechanism of R&D project managers, based on the operating process of R&D project and its team. In the introduction, the article explains briefly the situation, challenges, questions and research methods of W Company's R&D. Theoretical summary includes related studies on research management, project management and resource view. The environmental analysis of W Company's professional project manager training starts with the R&D process of W Company and requirements for project manager. Then, the article concludes the compositions of professionalized training mechanism of project manager based on resource view by analysing the challenges including organization structure, management communication and project process. Project manager could become the core competition of enterprise under resource view and we could promoting the growing-up of project manager by system construction, capacity building, appointment, performance appraisal and corporate culture building.Then, the article elaborates the ways of professional project manager training from five dimensions. System construction is mainly related to external system, market reputation mechanism, incentive and constraint mechanism. In capacity building part, the capacity of professional project manager is divided into three levels drawing lessons from triple properties of product in marketing. We analysed detailedly the contents of capability levels, in-service training and ways of capacity building. In appointment part, we mainly explain the acquisition and training of project manager and the impact of the importance of project over the appointment of project manager. Performance appraisal part includes the purpose, principle of appraisal and the decomposition and application of performance appraisal indexes. I simply told the principles of corporate culture and gave several related recommendations in the last part. Finely, I summed up the essence of the article and predicted the future research priorities.The choice of methods includes literature review, case studies and depth interview. A lot of related articles and views were read before I gave the training principles and methods of professional project managers.
