The Impact Of Wenchuan Earthquake On The Regional Agriculture Economic

Earthquake is a more serious disaster of the natural disasters, which has features such as difficult to predict, sudden strong, long-lasting, devastating, prone to secondary disasters, and so far-reaching impact, not only bring direct economic losses for the disaster areas, it will result in greater indirect economic losses. Sichuan Province is earthquake-prone zone, where is more prone to earthquakes, Wenchuan earthquake on May 12,2008 is the most widely spread and damaging earthquake since the founding of new China, causing direct economic losses is more far than the Tangshan earthquake on July 28,1976. Since Sichuan is one of the largest agricultural provinces in China, the Wenchuan earthquake with the hardest disaster areas in Sichuan province, had a significant impact on the agricultural economy and people's life, how to assess the earthquake in Sichuan Province and the loss of the national agricultural economy is a worthy subject of study.Based on the previous research results and certain assumptions, This paper uses the relevant knowledge and theories of regional economics, western economics, economic geography, disasters, economics and other disciplines integrally, uses literature research methods, qualitative and quantitative interdisciplinary research methods and analysis, establishes input-output model and the partial equilibrium model to assess the impact of the earthquake on Sichuan Province and the national agricultural economy, to propose some reasonable and effective disaster mitigation policies on this basis, and then, to provide reference values for the development of the agricultural economy of the affected areas by the earthquake. The research has certain practical and long-term practical significance to promote post-disaster economic research, the discipline of disaster economy , coordinated and sustainable development of regional economy.This article consists of six parts, each part of the main contents are as follows:The first part is introduction. Introduces the research background, research status of earthquake disaster, the other purpose of this study explained, significance, methods and the main content and innovation, proposes that the earthquake study has important practical significance for China.The second part is the theoretical basis of the impact of earthquake on the regional agriculture economic. This part elaborates the earthquake disaster's impact on the regional agricultural economy, mainly from respects of disaster economics theory, regional economic growth theory and theory of man-land relationship.The third part is the impact assessment and analysis of the earthquake to Sichuan agriculture economic, which is the focus of this study. first, analysis the current development of agricultural economy in Sichuan before the earthquake; second, introduces the earthquake situation; third, analysis the impact of the Wenchuan Earthquake on the Sichuan Province agricultural economy by different sectors; the last is to calculate the earthquake in Sichuan Province Comprehensive loss of agricultural economy usisg input-output analysis model.The fourth part is the impact of the earthquake on the national agricultural economy. Mainly based on the CGE model, considering the agricultural and livestock markets, it establishes the partial equilibrium model to assess the impact of the earthquake on China's agricultural economy.The fifth part is the policy recommendations of agricultural economic recovery and development after Wenchuan earthquake, mainly based on analysis of earthquake characteristics and assessment results, to propose the agricultural economic recovery development policy after the earthquake, this is significant to disaster relief, but also has a certain significance to the earthquake disaster prevention.Part VI is the conclusions and deficiencies of this paper. This paper has mainly found the following conclusions: Wenchuan earthquake is a devastating earthquake and loses much; Wenchuan earthquake has caused tremendous damage to the agriculture of Sichuan Province, but has a less impact on the agricultural economy of China.
