| The particular commodity function of traditional Chinese medicinal materials (TCMM) determines the more severity of quality management during the process of its production. At the present stage, the TCMM enterprises carried out quality management only by Good Agricultural Practice (GAP). However, the GAP certification still exist deficiencies, which only sets the quality targets, but no solutions on how to achieve these targets and assess the quality. The Total Quality Management (TQM) theory in TCMM production enterprises maybe compensates the lack of GAP.Shaanxi Tasly Plant Pharmaceutical Co. Ltd is the first enterprise after GAP certification in China. The company still keeps the advanced level of TCMM quality control among the same enterprises. But there are still many problems in TCMM quality management, and these problems ubiquitous exist among other enterprises. That restricts the company's development.This thesis based on the TQM theories and the analysis of quality management of China's TCMM production enterprises, using historical literature research, investigation research, case research, etc, analyzed the status and scarcities of quality management in Shaanxi Tasly Plant Pharmaceutical Co. Ltd. discussed four ways to improve their quality management system, and provided five guarantee measures of TQM. This thesis attempts to combination the theory of TQM with GAP, to offer a valuable reference for improving TCMM quality management level, and then improve the core competitiveness and innovative ability in China's TCMM production enterprises. |
