Research On Two-tied Urban Distribution System Based On Common Distribution

With the rapid development of electronic commerce, the quantity of freight increases quickly because of frequent personal deliveries, which lead the quantity of freight vehicles moving within the urban limits to grow at a quick speed. This hade made the crowed urban centre a more serious traffic problem; such as congestion, noise, etc. And many of the city limits imposed limits on the cargo vehicle line, which makes the city delivery more non-efficiency.Based on the research status of urban distribution and analysis of the problems, this article does a research about city delivery system from a view of releasing the congestion of the centre of urban and improving the efficiency of urban distribution. Building two-tied distribution system based on common delivery through researching the location of satellite platform and the model of the day- before planning problems. Analyzing the characteristics and problems of the urban distribution system, introducing two-tied distribution system, detailed analysis of its operation are described, especially the satellites and its location, the day- before planning problems and its general modeling framework. At last, constructing two-tied distribution system which takes the example of Beijing city and delivering the freight to customer through the two-tied distribution system, a numerical example shows, the cost has been optimized.Research of the optimal method of urban distribution system will be profitable to make good use of vehicles, reduce the distribution cost and decrease vehicles moving in city. At the same time, the freights are delivered around the city, which can reduce congestion of some road. And it will also help develop the urban high-speed freight delivery and realize its intelligence and logistics.
