Research On The Influence Of Industrial Agglomeration On Urban Spatial Structure

As the development of world urbanization and global economic integration, China has came into the economic developing stage of which industrial agglomeration and urban spatial development are closely related with. With both spatial attributes and economic attributes, Urban spatial structure and industrial agglomeration are two kinds of regional economic development phenomenon which has caused a lot of attention. However, there is less research on the relationship between the industrial agglomeration and the urban spatial structure at present. There have been 30 years since the Reform and Opening up, Zhejiang has became one of the fastest growing provinces in China, and it is one of the most vibrant and dynamic areas in China too. Industrial agglomeration is the great power which had been supporting the urban development, and the evolution of urban spatial structure. Take Zhejiang Province as the object of Empirical Study, to describe the influence of industrial agglomeration on urban spatial structure have many goods, such as proposals can be made for the further economy development and urban planning of Zhejiang province, and be taken reference for the economic development and urban planning of other regional.Industrial economy, Urban economy, Economic geography and Spatial economy have been take as a theoretical foundation for the Paper, which analyze the influence of industrial agglomeration on urban spatial structure Systematically. Firstly, from the qualitative point of view, normative analysis method is used to analyze the factors which influenced the urban spatial structure, and the mechanism which industrial agglomeration effects on urban spatial structure. Secondly, from the quantitative point of view, take Zhejiang Province as an example, positive analysis method is used. By using a large number of statistical data, the current situation in Zhejiang Province about industrial agglomeration and urbanization has been studied, for the first step. Than the two sets of variables on behalf of industrial agglomeration and urban spatial structure is chosen for the canonical correlation analysis. And for the next, conclusion which shows a significant correlation between the two sets of variables is made. And then come to the further positive research which take Yiwu City as an example, to analyze the influence of industrial agglomeration on urban spatial structure. Finally, the main conclusions of the Paper are made. And the conclusions is some methods about how to realize the coordinated development with industrial agglomeration and urban spatial structure. Such as speeding up industrial, upgrading, enhancing competitive strength of industrial, strengthening the government's planning function and so on.
