Economic Integration In "Central Part Of Zhejiang Province Urban Agglomeration"

Urban agglomeration is the major carrier of the basic form of urbanization and regional development. Its rise obviously helps the economic development of a country or a region. The basic unit of competition in the 21st century is no longer the enterprise but the urban agglomeration constituted by large, middle and small cities. More and more features with the form of urban agglomeration appear greatly in the competition among countries and regions. The construction and development of "urban agglomeration in the middle area of Zhejiang Province" is the extreme embodiment of the global tendency. The construction of it makes all the counties (cities, districts) in the middle area of Zhejiang a unit to take part in the competition both home and abroad, thus strengthening the whole competitive force of the middle , Zhejiang.At present, because of some factors, some counties (cities, districts) in the "central part of Zhejiang province urban agglomeration" lack concertedness in the economic development, leading to great waste of resources such as human, financial and material resources. And the experience of city development has showed that in the days when accumulative effect of economy is generally strengthened, every county (city, district) should take the competition with their counterparts into full account. The economic conformity of "central part of Zhejiang province urban agglomeration " is good to the exploitation of the planning resources in every county (city, district), the arrangement and construction of public facilities, and the free and full move of the finance, intellectuals, techniques and information among regions, in this way realizing the sharing of resources and the complementation of advantages. This will help mal-position development of industries in every county (city, district), which can live and gain profits together despite blind and over competition.The present study focuses on "central part of Zhejiang province urban agglomeration" from the angle of economic conformity. The major content is presented as follows:(1)To analyze the necessity and feasibility of economic conformity in "central part of Zhejiang province urban agglomeration". The present study regards that this kind of economic conformity is necessary for the regional economic competition, connection with Shanghai and entering into the development strategy of Yangtze River delta. It is also necessary for uplifting the economic gross and optimizing the industrial structure. And for the reasons that the differences between cities are narrow, that the arrangement of city system is compact in the region, that the transportation between cities is convenient, that the complementation of resource factors is strong and that the culture and history are almost similar, it is therefore feasible to perform the economic conformity in "central part of Zhejiang province urban agglomeration".(2) to expound on the major content of the economic conformity in "central part of Zhejiang province urban agglomeration". The study puts forward relative measures from the following four aspects: space conformity, industry conformity, market conformity and basic- facility conformity. The development of the "central part of Zhejiang province urban agglomeration" should put emphasis on the whole layout, set up reasonable industrial division of work and cooperative network, break up the market segmentation, effectively collocate elements and resources and share the public basic facilities, finally improving the whole competitive strength of the urban agglomeration.
